Still more from London.

As I mentioned in an earlier entry, there is only one Bobby in Indiana (Knight, of course). But in London, there are
plenty of Bobby's protecting the streets. And yes, most of them are unarmed, and use the good old billy-club for protection.
Of course, the subway bombings of last year have changed most of the rules, and there are a lot more guns visible on police
officers around the big tourist areas. They also have more roving patrols that carry weapons.

Westminster Abbey, the Tower of Westminster, the House of Parliament or the House of Commons -- no matter what
you call it, this is one of the most famous buildings in the world. The archetecture on this structure is mind-boggling and
amazing. It is also the home of Big Ben. I took this photo while riding the Eye of London.

The Thames River runs right through the heart of London.

This is one of the carriages that is on display at Buckingham Palace's Royal Mews Museum. Of course, this one has been
used by the Queen on many occasions.

No, Dad is not trying to call Mom back in the States. But a trip to London would be incomplete without posing
in a red phone booth.
