My Dad and I traveled to the United Kingdom in
May 2005. It was an extremely enjoyable trip and we will both remember for the rest of our lives. If you have never been to
England, it is well worth the expense. I have been three times and have loved each and every trip.

Here, my Dad (Daniel Hockney) and me pose while riding the Eye of London high above the Thames River, Big Ben and the
House of Parliament. The view from this 300-foot tall ferris wheel, is breathtaking. It takes nearly 30 minutes to make a
complete rotation, and all of London's sites can be clearly seen -- as long as the famous London Fog is not brewing. The cars
are fully enclosed, air conditioned, and windowed on all side -- including up and down.

Dad posed in front of St. Paul's Cathedral. We toured the inside of this majestic place of worship, and even climbed
to the overlook in the dome. I ventured to the second floor, which is 300+ steps up a spiral staircase. There was one more
floor to go, but by then I was pooped.

One of the most recognizable objects in London -- the clock tower called Big Ben. It is actually located at one corner
of the House of Parliament (the Palace of Westminster). Big Ben stands 316-feet above the Thames River, and has been keeping
time for Londoners for more than 150 years.

As the tradition goes, try and make him laugh. You can't. He won't. The guards at Buckingham Palace are famed for never
moving, despite tourists like me trying to get a chuckle out of them.

The Tower Bridge spans the Thames River, very near where the Crown Jewels are located at the Tower of London.
